Tennessee Teen Eagles Fundraiser
On June 25
Tennessee Teen Eagles hosted a fundraiser to raise money to go to Eagle Council in St. Louis this year. The fundraiser was a Farm Day in Goodlettsville which included pony rides, a petting zoo, BB gun shooting, frontier re-enactments, fiddle playing, and, of course, food.
The petting zoo consisted of two miniature ponies, a miniature mule, a miniature donkey, three goats, two rabbits, two baby turkeys, two chickens, and three ducks. For dinner, we served grilled hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken, beef brisket, corn-on-the-cob, baked beans and desserts. The food was donated by a few grocery stores as well as some Tennessee Eagle Forum members. There were two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. We had children and adults of all ages come to participate in the event!
Seventeen teen eagles volunteered to work. 110 guests came, and we raised $557.
Thanks to those of you who contributed to this fundraiser. We greatly appreciate all who consider it worthwhile to invest in our future. We certainly plan on making a difference for the better in our country!
